Transform with Sonja

You were never broken. You were biological.

The pull toward food was never weak will. It was a nervous system doing exactly its job — reaching for the fastest comfort it could find. Stay with me, and I’ll show you what it was doing, and how to answer it.

You may have found something that mostly works — a plan, a program, a medication. And still there’s a pull you can’t explain. A Noise that won’t quiet. A gap between knowing what to do and being able to do it, more days than not. That gap was never about the food. It’s about what’s underneath — and it’s exactly what this work is for.

Don’t take my word for it

Try the move

The whole method is one move, performed on a certainty. Here it is, done on you — free, in ten seconds, before anything is ever asked.

Tell me one thing you’re sure of about you and food.

I’ll walk it all the way through the reframe with you — gently, in a couple of minutes.

Where the work is held

Ways to walk together

One relationship, deepening by degrees. The knowing is the same in every room, and freely given. What deepens as you go is the company — each step inward, a smaller room and a closer walk, and less and less alone.

The front door · daily

The Magic

A daily home. For six years, a small community has gathered here every weekday — the tools and the language in your hands, and simple company for the hour that used to send you to the kitchen. No plan to fail at; just people who get it.

Deeper · twice a month

The Advanced Recovery Project

The book, walked together. Twice a month we take Thinking Outside the Box one chapter at a time and go past it — reframing out loud, in your own words, with the daily community holding you in between. Where knowing becomes living.

Closer still · weekly

The Small Group

A held room of four or five, the same faces every week for six months — long enough to stop performing and start being known. Small on purpose: safe enough to set down what you’ve never said out loud.

The innermost room

One to One

For the work that wants a private room. Just us, shaped entirely around you, at the pace your nervous system actually changes. We begin with a 90-minute introductory session — an unhurried first conversation, and a first piece of work together.

Give away the knowing. Charge for the accompaniment.

The work, made available

Tools and a gentler language

The method doesn’t wait behind a paywall. It’s already yours to try.

The Tools

A shelf of free tools that do the work with you — the Pause, the Resonance Line, the Detective Journal, the Reframing Practice, and more. Each one performs the method, gently, in the moment you need it.

The Words We Use

A living glossary of a different language for food — sophisticated not broken, drift is information, the Noise and the Hum. Change the word, and the sentence lifts.

The person you’d be walking with

I weighed well over 300 pounds for most of my adult life, and released 170 of them — not to look like anyone, but to save my own life. What I learned on the way is that my patterns were never a defect. When I was six, my father told me my system was “more sophisticated than most” — it took decades to bloom, but it’s the seed of everything I teach.

You were never broken. Neither was I.
